Promise Prep is a tuition-free public charter elementary school in Indianapolis, IN. We opened our doors in August 2021 with our founding Kindergarten, First and Second Grade classrooms.

Promise Prep’s mission is to ensure all students, regardless of their family’s income, race, or zip code, have access to a high-quality education that enables them to become critical thinkers, have choices, capitalize on opportunities, and secure continuing economic advancement to positively impact their community. We are uniquely focused on educating students on the Far Eastside and prioritize building partnerships with the community to build the school our children deserve. Promise Prep is a tuition-free school that also provides fee assistance for low-income students.

Our vision is that Indianapolis will become a city that delivers on the promise of equitable education for all children so that we end generational poverty.
