We have partnered with Eastway to offer integrated mental health and educational programming for children in need of behavioral and mental health services. The therapeutic setting with an educational component provides children with a safe, comfortable place for them to learn and build the skills necessary to return to their home school and to function successfully in their communities.

Special educational programs are offered to students with disabilities.

KCE looks to partner with organizations and leagues to provide our students with many opportunities to enjoy time with friends outside of school hours. We want our students to be active in activities involving sports, music, arts, and leadership.

KCE students enjoy daily Spanish Class. Not only the Spanish language, but they also explore the culture. We enjoy learning through games, songs, and other activities. Expectations are that students are reading, writing, listening, and speaking Spanish at their age level.

All grade levels take field trips throughout the year. Students love getting out of the classroom and learning beyond the classroom. We explore local museums and areas of interest, watch theater performances, and enjoy the fall weather while finding the perfect pumpkin!
