Phalen Leadership Academies started as a summer program, expanded into innovative charter schools, and now, with the leadership of exceptional staff, PLA has sparked partnerships with school districts around the country

PLA is pleased to share that next fall they will be serving children in Tampa, Florida. The organization is preparing to assist Hillsborough County School District in its efforts to improve some of its lowest performing schools.

The mission of Hillsborough County Schools is to provide an education that enables each student to excel as a successful and responsible citizens. PLA feels blessed to work with the district to improve the academic performance of 4,000 of its scholars.
