Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences, Friday November 20
Tips for preparing for your conference:
- Speak with your scholar and/or log into their Blackboard account to see the academic progress.
- During conferences ask your scholar's teacher about specific strategies that will help your scholar keep the academic strengths currently being demonstrated as well as how to improve upon those skills where additional support is needed.
Tips on what to do after the conference:
- Review and reflect on any notes you may have taken.
- Seek clarification from the teacher regarding any of your notes.
- Sit down with your child to reflect on the marking period and discuss the next steps for the upcoming marking period.
- Remain in communication with your child's teacher.
